MADE FOR THIS TASK

Key features

  • Three ways to fit your image

Fit keeps the photo inside your dimensions, Fill crops the center, and Pad adds a colored border without stretching.

  • Choose your export format

Download JPEG, PNG or WebP and check the actual output dimensions. Enlarging a small photo cannot create missing detail.

  • Free, without an account

Use the available controls, preview and downloads without sign-up or payment. Processing runs on your device within the stated format and memory limits.

Start at 2000px wide. Adjust to your needs.

The 2000px-wide preset is a useful starting point for listing photos, not a claim that Etsy mandates one universal size. Check current platform guidance and preview how your listing crops the image.

In Fit mode, leave height empty to calculate it from the source ratio. With both dimensions, Fit creates the largest whole image inside that box, without padding. Output dimensions are limited to 8000px per side and 40 million pixels.

Fit, Fill or Pad — with no stretching

Fit keeps the whole photo and preserves its aspect ratio. For example, a 3000 × 2000 image resized to 2000px wide becomes 2000 × 1333.

Fill makes an exact-width-and-height canvas by cropping the center. Pad makes the same exact canvas, fits the whole image inside and fills the remaining space with your chosen background color. Fill and Pad require both dimensions; preview carefully before saving.

The output format is your choice

Download JPEG, PNG or WebP. Quality controls JPEG and WebP; PNG uses lossless encoding and may be larger. JPEG fills transparent areas with your chosen background. Only the first decoded frame is processed; this is a still-image tool.

Resize Etsy listing images online for free, with no login or payment. Files stay in your browser. Input is limited to 20MB and 40 million decoded pixels. We cannot guarantee listing approval or recover detail missing from a small original.

A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questions

Does resizing stretch my photo?

No. All three modes preserve the original proportions. Fill crops part of the photo; Pad adds a border.

Can I resize a small image to 2000px?

Yes, but increasing pixel dimensions cannot add real detail. Review the preview for softness.

Why is Fit output smaller than my height setting?

Fit treats width and height as a bounding box. It keeps the whole image inside that box rather than forcing an exact canvas.

Is 2000px an official mandatory Etsy size?

This is a starting preset, not a universal platform requirement. Check Etsy's current guidance for your listing type.

Is this online Etsy image resizer free?

Yes. Fit, Fill, Pad and JPEG, PNG or WebP downloads are free. No account or installation is needed, and your listing photos are processed locally in your browser.
